I had the same problem.... - ....

I was also using a Microsoft keyboard and doing fine for a while until it just started feeling like I had to give more effort to push each key...I did research and found that different keyboards actually have difference "forces" required to depress each key and finally found the Kinesis Freestyle, which I love. I even had them remap some of my keys to make editing easier. Later, I did find a program called Sharp keys that does the same thing for free lol.
