Nuance hires from their competitors all the time. I bet there have been many who have flopped between M and N. Now if somebody is not eligible for re-hire from one of the companies that N swallowed, I could see why they would not hire that someone.
As far as outsourcing and discrimination, that is only discrimination based on pay. They would likely be more than happy to hire you if you were willing work for the peanuts they do in India.
