UE is federal and this is just my understanding - each state has own rules

I got laid off last week and fair warning, it is NOT a cake walk!!! Have to give same information multiple times, they reverify with company - if you make the slightest mistake they delay, takes weeks to process, if you get any vacation pay it is deducted from what you are scheduled to receive from UE, if you cash out 401K it is deducted from what you receive from UE, any way they can keep you from getting something it seems they do. I never had to file before and did not foresee it being so difficult and basically another nightmare on top of everything else. IMO.
