I am sure that you think you are correct. I became eligible for UE when I lost 3 jobs in less than a year to EMR, leaving me completely without work and not able to secure any. There were rules regarding this and I WAS eligible. I did not collect though, as I have too much pride to seek assistance. I went through $5000 of my savings just to live and nothing else, until I finally found another position, but YES, I WAS eligible. IC or not. Every state is different... keep that in mind.
