and it is inappropriate. It will be against staff bylaws.

If the computer system is not working, the facility has a contingency plan he should follow. Simple as that. It is never appropriate to say that you cannot treat a patient due to technical problems and that you hope they survive using unsatisfactory methods.

Just FYI, I work on-site in a suit.
