Could have written this myself - just saying Posted: Jul 29th, 2015 - 10:53 am In Reply to: Why I stay - sm
Its a job. Exactly. Where most people in my town are making minimum wage I am able to stay home and make double that. In my pajamas. And not have to deal with people unless I want to. I worked in town at the clinic before this and it was nothing but an old biddies club. No thank you.
I kept telling myself I would do this and stay home and raise my boys which I did for the last 15 plus years. I also helped my husband finish his degree which has more than paid for itself with the raises and promotions he received.
About the time the MOT/POD business started I took the extra money and have been putting it towards school for myself. Of course it helps now that I have an awesome TSM and decent accounts but I just think it is time for me to get off the production treadmill and find something else. Hopefully with my degree I will be able to do just that. Paid for fully by Mmodal and their MOT.
