This does not sound correct - bab

Posted: Nov 26, 2010

it was felt that the hemolytic event was taking was taking place systematically, accounting for the instability of the patient's hct and hgb.  The "entaric/enteric but loss was probably not secondary to GI bleeding.

The patient had ulcers in the stomack, duodenum.  I thought it might enteric but that does not seem to fit.

Please see message - Just trying to help

Sorry, I am not trying to be judgmental (I assume you were typing this quickly and did not simply cut and paste from your document.  Or is this a verbatim account and you typed exactly what the dictator said?) -- with the repeated words and misspellings, it is difficult for me to know exactly what the sentence is and what the question is.

It would fit if the sentence is --

…The enteric blood loss (not “but” loss)

If they believe the blood loss is coming from the intestines.

If that is not what you are asking, please retype the sentences again and maybe someone else can give you the answer.

Sorry.  Just trying to help.

You are correct. It is blood loss. Thank you so much. I should of caught that.

I also think it is enteric blood loss. I hope the spelling of "stomach" in the original post was a VR error or typo and not how you think it is spelled. Also, it is "should have", not "should of." I don't care if I get banned from the forum for pointing this out, either. We are supposed to be language specialists.

perhaps consider systemically - rather than systematically

Hi everyone - I wanted to touch base with all of you immediately, as we have a very serious problem.  Aside from a very few MTs who have notified us in advance that they would be out, we have many MTs who are not working their agreed upon shift and it has put us in a serious hole.  If there is work in your pool for the physi ...

Sound And Technology

Wouldn't it make more sense if, with our improved digital and fiberoptic technology, the reports sounded BETTER instead of worse?  I guess it is more about convenience -- they can dictate in the bathroom, on the soccer field, in the locker room, checking out at the grocery store, or riding a motorcycle. . . ...

DSG Sound Issues
Mar 30, 2010

Someone here mentioned the sound quality at DSG.  Has anyone ever addressed it there?  Seems that in this day and age, sound should be perfect.  I have mentioned it here and there to them, but nobody has ever gotten back to me on it.  Some of dictations sound like there's a piece of sheet metal being slammed with a hammer.  Not good.  And with ASR, it's really a mess. Oh well, probably getting out of this business anyway. ...
