DocQScribe Question. In ASR, when there are sm - Frustrated MQer

# signs in the report in place of numbers, is there a way to automatically put the numbers in there?? I'm sure I learned this during some video webinar but I don't see it in my notes! I'm so frustrated! On almost every document I see:
#. COPD.
#. Hypertension.
#. Blah, blah, blah
Is this supposed to be helping us? Does it help you? Thanks for your help, fellow MTs!

[ In Reply To ..]Yes, at the end of your list, highlight the whole thing and use ctrl L, viola! You'll have your list with hash marks, not numbers, but it prints as numbers on the hard copy.

[ In Reply To ..]You forgot to mention, you can't do this if it is all run together as a sentence. You have to take each diagnosis or medication or whatever the list may be and make it a separate line:
NOT LIKE: EGGS. BACON. BANANAS. MILK.
Do it like this:
Eggs.
Bacon.
Bananas.
Milk.
THEN highlight and ctrl L. ;)
you can also - mt
[ In Reply To ..]create the numbered list as you separate. If you use Ctl-L at the beginning of the paragraph you want to separate, then do hard returns at each item, it automatically puts in the #. as you go. No need to go back and highlight and then use Ctl-L.

My company is switching from straight transcription on DQS to ASR on DQS. I've used DQS for two years and didn't even know they had ASR, but apparently they do. Could any of you with experience on this please give me your opinions of the DQS ASR platform? I'm just not sure I want to go through training if I won't want to stay with this company. I did Escription for awhile at another company and hated it. Thanks in advance! ...

My account was switched over 5 weeks ago and truthfully I don't see improvement. One day I think maybe it is getting better and the next day it's worse. It doesn't cap what should be and does cap things that shouldn't. It has probably 50 different things it uses for "next" or "next is." It puts q.h.s. one time and at bedtime the next. I lock up everytime I use ADP. Then I have to get out and try again. It has already been 20 minutes and I still have not loaded yet. Cannot Get DocQScribe To Load

I tried to get DocQScribe to load from the DocQManage page for over an hour and finally had to send in a ticket. Is anyone else having this kind of trouble with the system. I work for a company that uses DocQScribe (not MQ) but since MQ uses it, I thought you all would be experts on it and I could ask this here. I copied a report I did from DocQ into Word and got different line counts - to the tune of me losing 14 lines in a report by DocQ's count (adds up by the end of the day).
