docQscribe 6.1 training - MT

Anyone using their own computer have problems taking the docQscribe 6.1 training? I get a technical error message.

Even with the player that comes loaded with WIN7 and Vista systems there are issues. I could not view it on either of my computers running WIN7 or Vista. Had to view it on my archaic XP, which I rescued from the garage. I have to use it for work now as well, due to infamous DQS 6.1 incompatibility issues with 64 bit operating systems. Before you even attempt to dowloand 6.1, check if you running a 32 or 64 bit system by looking at your system specifications. If you are running 64 bit, 6.1 is not compatible. Not sure why Support is not making anyone aware of this info.

Support does let you know after you call them when you can't use it. They also told me I couldn't use Win 7 with the previous version, but I was, even with a 64-bit. I used the 32 bit Internet Explorer, run as administrator and just downloaded it every day. but now, with the new version, that won't work either.

First off, I am sure you are not an idiot. LOL Anyway, go to control panel, system and it will bring up your specs.

Player? Also the videos play better if you download them and then watch them. Right click the link to the video and click save target as and save to your desktop. Then, when you want to watch the video, click the saved file. I have a MQ computer and had to install Media Player 11.

Seems like the techs are using different Windows versions to write the program/upgrade rather than take into consideration what everyone has. Hey, MQ MTs are equipped with XP, so write the program for XP! - Doesn't seem like rocket science to be figure out to be consistent with the software version distributed to the employees.

I have Vista 32-bit and 6.1 works just fine. I did get the codec error trying to run the training and support told me to download winamp. I did and the trainings would play but with no sound. ARGH!

My company is switching from straight transcription on DQS to ASR on DQS. I've used DQS for two years and didn't even know they had ASR, but apparently they do. Could any of you with experience on this please give me your opinions of the DQS ASR platform? I'm just not sure I want to go through training if I won't want to stay with this company. I did Escription for awhile at another company and hated it. Thanks in advance! ...

My account was switched over 5 weeks ago and truthfully I don't see improvement. One day I think maybe it is getting better and the next day it's worse. I lock up everytime I use ADP. Then I have to get out and try again. It has already been 20 minutes and I still have not loaded yet. I sat on hold with Tech Support for 20 minutes since "all representatives were busy" yet when I finally got to speak to someone, they said they weren't having issues . . . as usual. I tried to get DocQScribe to load from the DocQManage page for over an hour and finally had to send in a ticket. Is anyone else having this kind of trouble with the system. It showed a green light on DEP. This is getting rediculous. I could not work my scheduled shift on Sunday because there were no jobs available (but incentive stayed in place). I work for a company that uses DocQScribe (not MQ) but since MQ uses it, I thought you all would be experts on it and I could ask this here. I copied a report I did from DocQ into Word and got different line counts - to the tune of me losing 14 lines in a report by DocQ's count (adds up by the end of the day). Am I missing something or can companies manipulate the DocQ to count a certain way or it is what it is? I am a big producer and it never seems I can hit good numbers and ...
