I think it is amazing how they can QA 20 reports and 17 of them are over 99% and are quality review so it means nothing towards qualifying for anything but the 3 that are post audit they have managed to find errors bringing my  score down to where I can't qualify for anything.  Very ironic if you ask me.

Whatever this "equalization" means is NOT good. Kind of sounds like that "share the wealth" thing. They want to take from us and line their pockets more. Do they even care about the number of MLSs who have lost their homes not to mention their self-respect and dignity?

as prices go up, some have trouble feeding their families? NO. Do insurance companies care that low reimbursement rates are not enough to compensate for a castrophobic injury? NO. Does Disneyland care that higher entry rates mean some cant take their kids there? NO. Business is business. Strangers to you and I. No family, not friends who have your best interest at heart.

A corporation might not "care" in the same way friend or family would. But even corporations "realize" that greed may not be in its own best interests over the long haul. (The bully may get your lunch money today but not forever). "Good" corporations realize it is simply good business to care about your employees, for all the obvious reasons (i.e., loyal employees who feel appreciated will support corporate goals concerning quality, production, and other intangibles that come with "seasoned veterans").

Many corporations recognize that the "golden rule" is a good way to "do business," whether you're an individual or a corporation, and have intentionally created a corporate culture that reflects that, both in how they treat their employees and their customers; and have found that a good, profitable business CAN be run this way.

Greed has its own reward.
P & G, Google, Costco, Amazon for example - Successful companies

They care about their employees by paying them a decent wage and offer opportunities to grow with the company. These companies are so much smarter than the management team at Nuance.

Again, unless you work for one of the above companies, you cant expect the company to care for you as an individual. That is just the sad truth of our lives.

And that is why Nuance wants us to refer MTs to them. They can't keep their accounts staffed because they are greedy and do not give a care about anyone but themselves. Nuance is a poor example how business should be done. And clearly Nuance is desperate if they resort to the MTs they treat so badly for referrals. No way, no how, and for no amount of money, would I refer a person to Nuance.

Loyal employees who are treated fairly and compensated will grow your business. I personally will go back to Amazon over Walmart because of their prompt and understanding customer service when I have issues with a product. I believe Amazon probably compensates employees better than Walmart and that is why their customer service is better. Companies get exactly what they pay for.

So all that poppycock spewing out of Nuance's collective mouths about how much they appreciate the MTs is just that. And when they want referrals because other MTs leave the company for greener pastures, there is no way I would refer anyone to Nuance. If Nuance appreciates me, pay me a decent wage (by CEOs and management taking a cut like the Costco CEO)and stop the degrading Fiesa program.

As long as a business treats employees well they will keep good people on board who will expand their business.

On the other hand, businesses are passing on higher costs to consumers. Prices have to remain competitive so if a business unfairly passes on higher prices they will not last.

It's not ironic at all. It's exactly how they planned it. Last month, I got 100% on review. To make me "pay" for that great score, I already have 3 critical errors since last week.

Must have been making too much money and a certain QA didn't like it, so there goes my money. I have no loyalty to this company as everything they do is underhanded. I am working to find a job every day. As soon as I do, they will not even get a phone call or resignation letter from me. Let QA/QC do my work, I could'nt care less.

I have been an MT 25+ years so I'm not just great (100%) some of the time, it's all the time. I don't just suddenly go from a passing score to "we're taking your money away because you are incompetent."

How very ignorant the idea of Fiesa is. I get a call from TSM to tell me my scores are too low. That is after high scores the previous weeks. Doesn't Nuance know that some errors are caused by the quality of the dictation and just because you had a low score per some QA person's interpretation does not mean you are sloppily doing editing or transcribing and you need a phone call to straighten your quality out.

Nuance is a greedy stupid company that constantly insults the intelligence of MTs.

Words cannot describe my loathing and contempt for this way to rob us of our hard earned pay. I no longer bother to even go in there. My contempt or Nuance is even more. As for referring my FB friends there, forget it. I wouldn't knowingly subject anybody to this company who obviously cares nothing for its MTs.

How do I get to be such a crummy transcriptionist  - last week 3 or 4 post audits - 98.69% 1 audit done Sat for this week -- 3-pt CPSE error and 1-pt  + 98.03% so far for this week. Something new that's being instituted since our recent acquisition by Nuance, so maybe Focus is using it already?  Looks like a way to get even pickier about QA, in my opinion, which our incentives are based upon.  I've been really happy about the way Encompass has done QA up until this time.  While the requirement is really high (99% minimum, 99.5% for incentive bonus), the way they add all the lines together first and then average out from there is totally logical, un ...

Last week, I had a great QA score.  I only had a couple of reports sent to QC - none of which were problematic. However, today, I had a horrible ESL report with multiple blanks.  I had to send it to QC.  They not only filled in the blanks, but graded me on it -- a whopping 96.2.  UGH!  Is that going to be counted among my post audit score for my pay rate?? ...
