Update on Reactivating Application (from a couple of days ago) - FutureMQer?

Just an update for the posters I was speaking with the other night about reactivating my application at MQ and going part-time...

Apparently once you're hired and have accepted a position, you do remain in the system and all it takes is reactivation to put you back into the process.  The rep I spoke with was very nice and emailed the appropriate department to contact me tomorrow to get everything reactivated and continue processing me as a new hire.  I'm not sure if testing will be required but presumably I'll find out more tomorrow.  She said they normally get back to "employees" quickly under these circumstances so they can get them placed onto an appropriate account.  I guess it's smart business...if someone's qualified and you've hired them but they have to temporarily step down, that person has already been through the formalities and, unless something drastic has happened (such as injury or something to prevent working in the interim) that person should be good to go with reactivation, maybe just sign an updated paperwork package with a current date and be ready to train. 

On the other hand, YOWZA.  Even I wasn't prepared for things to happen this quickly, but I'm certainly not complaining!  As I said the other night, I really need the part-time income and the fact that their "big brother" tendencies makes it that easy to track me and reactivate me is actually somewhat impressive, if I were to allow myself to be objective. 

Hopefully tomorrow brings a speedy revelation...and maybe by this time tomorrow I'll know whether I'm speaking with fellow MTs who happen to work at MQ or whether I'm speaking with my new crew of awesome CO-WORKERS!

So they do require updated testing, then it says the recruiter will contact me to place me on a suitable account and expedite updated paperwork to me.

Wow...it really WAS just that easy!

Anyway, for anyone who might find themselves in a similar position, it appears unlike the initial hire, they really do expedite getting you on board.

Do they normally schedule the training pretty quickly once you have your equipment? It sounds like they're pretty desperate to get people up and running, so I'm assuming it's not a "sit-and-wait" like some MTSOs (the ones that even bother to contact you about training after they've "hired" you, that is).

Since I've referred someone to test, and my date of hire was umpteen years ago. Then, it was merely test your skills with a live person supervising. Way before the days of technology automation. And the buyouts into #1 MTSO. Curious to see how the new process works. I would imagine if an MT had kept up the skills as technology progessed, there wouldn't be much of a problem?

After all, MModal has a Facebook page.  We need to start an anti-MModal Facebook Page.  We could write stories of what is happening to us with this company and how we are treated and send in pictures of us working ourselves to death, etc.  Even spouses could get involve and family members how we are to work during holidays, but then there is no work, yet we are to get our hours in.  We write on MTstars, why not have one for Facebook????? ...

No Work For A Couple Weeks Now, What's Going On?

I am assigned to 4 accounts, 1 new about 2 months ago and the other 2 a few weeks ago.  At first there was tons of work, OT every weekend and now...nothing.  There is no work ALL DAY LONG.  I am scheduled early morning and I have checked all day, every day and there is no work.  I was moved off an account where I always got my lines in even if I had to flex a bit, but these new accounts have NO WORK ALL DAY.  This is unbelievable and scary.  Is this happening acro ...
