Two days in a row now of the worst ever ESL dictators. Sometimes this jobs just makes me want to SCREAM loudly but that won't solve the problem (s). Too many days I have sat her crying over the quality (or lack thereof) of the physicians dictating. They just don't care how they dictate. WE are responsible for making them 100%. So very tired.

Fondly remember the "good ole days" when I first started with Your Office Genie. Each subsequent buyout seems to get worse.

Enough ranting and rage. Back to the salt mines.

Wish I could get an account averaging 400 lph.

Just wanted to let you know that you're not alone. I'm having one horrible day with the worst dictators ever. Most of the work I have done today, I've had to leave blanks :(

to try to work today. i called out sick last night and right now i'm just staring at my screen. my mother, who will be 93 on saturday, has gotten on my last nerve and i ran screaming out of the house to the liquor store. and now i'm supposed to work?? if i had one or the other, i'd be able to function, but having this crappy job and a controlling demanding hard to deal with mother on top of it, i just want to jump off a bridge. instead, i turn to as many mind altering substances as possible.

there was a thread in here the other day where someone mentioned all they were getting were EPIC reports and not making any lines with these piddly things. i asked what EPIC was as i'd never gotten any. cue to today, where that is now all i'm getting and the little ticker says i have a 66 lph count. hahahahahahhahah....officially losing my mind here. so, do you think "they" are reading this board? i'm beginning to think so, and punishing us likewise.

This job was actually OK when I was on those and Valium,,Darned back doctor, should have refused to operate again lol..Not sure which is worse, constant back pain, or constant ESL torture..Sunday is THE worst day to work..

because i know for sure if i didn't have my xanax to get me through some days, i don't live far from Franklin, and i'd be tempted to take a little drive and go postal on their front steps. don't be all judgy mcjudgy. some of us have a high tolerance, and one glass of wine or a pill is not going to do anything but improve our mood and make it possible to do a good job without slitting our throats.

I finally went to my doc and said I cannot take it anymore. I told him I had to type about death, incontinence, being put in a nursing home and hospice every day, cancer, lung disease, heart disease, people younger than me that are dying. He put me on escitalopram and I am thinking about upping the dosage. I feel like I have no control over something that takes over half of my life.

I DREAD Monday's. Coming back to see yet mandatory OT. I am so tired. It's all I can do to sit here 8 hours a day and now 9 or more. I try to be positive but when I see the jobs I get, forget it. My very own attitude has gone from bad to worse with the 4 cpl and the fact that I am typing over most of the garbage. I was told by my CCM no F11 unless technical problems and they must be reported. Again today, I find myself really very angry while I wait for a job outside of the house to come through. According to a poster below which has apparently already attended one of the payroll meetings (as the poster posted) for nuance they have decided to keep the incentive part of all of our pay going with an exception that now you have to have over the industry standard of 98% to get a production based incentive. In addition (if this poster is accurate) they have again cut the overall pay from 8 and 4 to 3 3/4 AND 7 1/2. This is nothing but a bunch of crapploa...an MT who is now getting ...

I get on this site every now and then and it is so disheartening to see so many people frustrated with their employers. I work for two different companies and I have to say I love them both. I work for OSi and I work for All Type. Both treat me fairly, respond rapidly to questions and are nice employers. Not everyone is unhappy with MT work right now. Lots of times this board is filled with much negativity and I think it is a disservice to each other. Sometimes we need to vent, but sure would like to see people with more positive things that are happening in their life post on here, and not just read on here. I think it is unfair to dissuade newcomers to the profession. Give them an accurate vision of what it is like, both pros and cons. But, I think it's wron ...
