My, what low standards you have. - Most of us want more than crumbs.

So what does that say about your standards? Do you - work for MM. I find it interesting that

you were so quick to judge her standards considering you have no idea what her line rates are, how fast she is, whether she is a high producer or not or what she averages on a daily basis.

For all you know she could be averaging $130 dollars a day, which is $16.25 and hour and I wouldn't call that crumbs.

I average anywhere from $115 to $126 when I sit still and stay focused. Dont assume everyone else is making crumbs just because you are.

Thank you for coming to my defense, I actually make - around $20.00 an hour....

goal lines per hour? I find that extremely hard to believe. Seriously. Unless you have extremely easy accounts or turn in shoddy work. The national company-wide goal/average is a little over 200 lines per hour of ASR.

Obviously if I make 20 bucks an hour, I am going at least twice as fast as the required lines per hour. The AVERAGE is 220. That means some are doing less and some are doing more. I am one that is doing more. Is that hard for you to understand? My quality is always above 99%. It is possible to be fast and turn out good work.

Could you average $20/hour and edit 450 lph if you were being paid 4 cpl for ASR, 98% of your work was ASR, and EVERY SINGLE ASR REPORT came to you looking like this:

same account :) I think there are some people who just can't fathom why we are not still making $20 per hour (yes I used to make that --- 200 lph at 10 cpl). With some of the accounts, there is JUST NO WAY.

Being willing to work and willing to work for crumbs are 2 different things. Didn't the slaves have good work ethics, and didn't they revolt?

This -- yet again -- goes back to some MTs for MM getting 6 cpl and others WITH THE SAME EXPERIENCE LEVEL, SKILL LEVEL, AND TIER LEVEL getting 4 cpl for ASR.

I have no doubt whatsoever that those MTs getting 4 cpl would be much happier with their situation if they were getting 6 cpl.

The ones making 16-20 an hour must be pets, stroked by the TSM, on the same account daily and have been for years. They cannot possibly be on a million different accounts every day or in the same work pool or using the clunky junk platform we use receiving 10 e-mails a day to do special stuff for special people on a special work type.

I get the same crap everyone else gets, I work on several accounts every day, my TSM doesn't know me at all, and I get the same emails everyone else does with special instructions. My only complaint is when there isn't work when I want to work, which thankfully didn't happen much until the storm back east where my accounts are. So if someone doesn't want to work, they can quit and leave the work for those of us who do. Why is that so hard for you to understand?

everyone would be much better off. I for one go above and beyond in the area of my productivity.

Every account has crappy dictators and picky doctors, but I still manage to far exceed the 150 line per hour requirement without any problems.

And dont get me started on the OT, I will take all the overtime I can handle. The more lines I produce, the more money I make. This is a production based job, not an hourly position. So the more work, the merrier.

I can produce 1800+ lines per day easily with a combination of straight and editing - I am lucky to have one straight typing account, but I do even more on the days where I do mainly editing all day long and thats with breaks included.

It's not hard folks, just put your minds to it and do it.

Are you given 2 new accounts every day? - probably not.

If I did the same accounts all day long every day, maybe I could do 400 lines an hour too but I doubt it because they make it impossible with their "special" requests.

The MTs who are struggling and unhappy would just about kill for a gem like that.

If ALL your 30+ accounts were 98+% ASR and you were only doing 1800 lines per day, that'd yield you about $10/hour at 4 cpl. Would you still be so happy if that were the case, would you still be able to do 1800 lines per day (that is, a less-than-10-hour day)?

THIS is what so very many MTs at MM are facing right now. They want to work, but the company just won't support them... like it's supporting you, apparently.

6 cpl for ASR for some, 4 cpl for others with the same skill level, experience level, and tier level

no shift diff on ASR pay

no credit for experience and skill reflected on ASR pay

all of the worst dictators are put on ASR - faster to just straight type, but still at ASR pay

remarkably inconsistent QA/QC

lousy CCMs who ignore MTs unless the CCM wants something

NJA constantly unless you want to be dumped into the helper pool, where you'll get the worst of the worst leftovers from hospitals ALL OVER THE COUNTRY, rarely getting the same client twice, let alone the same dictators.

nitpicky client specs and dictator specs, and since rarely getting the same client/dictator twice, have to take the UNPAID time to review those specs before even beginning the 4 cpl report

Don't know why this is not working . . . I need to get the "Suggestion Window Font" to a bigger size. I have changed the font to say Times New Roman 14 and it shows that it changed it in the "Suggestion Window Font" but when I go into my report and run a shorthand word it stays small, never changed. This isn't directly related to MT, but is in a round-about way. I've done something to cause my font size in certain areas to be smaller, and it's driving me crazy! I'm working on an account that uses Chartscript, and something fairly bizarre is happening to my notes. When I submit the jobs they are in Times New Roman font, I'm double-checking to make sure that's the case, but at some point after submission they are switching to Arial! Working in Enterprise. My account just switched to Epic and the font size is very tiny. I've noticed that in the task bar right above where we enter the transcription that there are two buttons to click on, one for font and one for size.
