Exactly how many paycuts have we taken over the past few years? I know there are quite a few, and the last jab is the 99% audit.

the bonus for any lines over 8, 10 and 12,000 = is that right, been so long I can't remember, plus the weekend differential, plus the latest shift differential cut. What am I forgetting?

I am also remembering a "difficult dictator pay premium" but maybe they just told us about it and never paid, so therefore wouldn't be a cut.

Medquist paid $50.00 per month for high-speed internet service and before that for our phone line/dictaphone.

3. Daily production bonus cancelled.
4. Monthly production bonus cancelled.
5. Shift differential cut.
6. Over 5% to QA cut.
7. No longer paying for QA markers (that was sometime in the last few years)
8. No internet reimbursement (from 2006)

I'm sure I could think if some more if I thought about it longer.

All the things we are expected to do for free:

1. Anything that is typed into the ADT information header: Date of Service, Admit/Discharge Date, Referring Physician's name (which must be searched for and pulled in from the database).
2. CC's (which must be searched for and pulled in from the database).
3. Sometimes (actually a lot) identifying and/or changing the ADT feed to reflect the correct patient, date and billing number.

Time, time, time, (away from the production that is our livelihood) that we are not paid for, yet it is mandatory that we get it all correctly entered.

So now we have to fill out a Q-Care ticket when we use F11. More time spent being micro-managed. I hate this place. Why am I still here?? A question I ask myself daily.

I don't know why you're still here, but I'm still here because I'm out in the boonies without a lot of other work options, at least that pay enough for the child care I'd need to work outside the home.

Has anyone ever installed a memory stick into their computer? I need to install an extra GB of memory into my computer for a new position and, to say the least, I'm most definitely not tech savvy. Is it easy to do? Can you just purchase the memory stick at RadioShack or some place like that? Is it possible to damage your computer installing it?
