My email from CCM - states how work volume is low

throughout the WHOLE COMPANY. No jobs all day and no helper pool because of low work volumes.

Anyone else out of work or running low or is it just our group being targeted it.

Work volume has been low all over this week according - dnr

to what I see in DQM. I check it every day before I start work and also at the times (out of sick curiosity) when CCM states they need people to work (of course the work is just as low at those times).

Perhaps work is just low for MedQuist!! Maybe all their clients are starting to wise up and go with other companies. Karma Bites. :)

I've had NJA a lot over the last 2-3 weeks while another MT who I know personally with the same tier as me and the same accounts and working very close to the same hours says she doesn't get NJA so I'm stumped.

This is the kind of thing that makes me really wonder what's going on but I suppose I'm just being self-defeating. (that last bit is sarcasm in case it isn't obvious)

If I had a friend, same tier, same accounts, and they had work and I did not, I would be on the phone that second telling my CCM and his/her supervisor as well, that they better figure out why someone else has work and I didn't. I would explain that you personally know someone, that they have work and that you have not, and they better fix it!

I would never tell the friends name, but I would insist on work!

I would never let 2-3 weeks go by like that!

I have had NJA off and on for 2-3 weeks. I just assumed it was the usual summer slow-down.

It was TODAY I found out that my friend has work. And you better believe I've emailed and left phone messages for everyone who's name I know in the chain of command and they will hear from me every DAY until it's fixed. LOL

Just wanted to clarify that.

I am tier 3. I work 4 hours late morning to afternoon and 4 hours late evening into early a.m. Tues. through Sat. I have yet to have NJA in my 5 years in this group and a lot of weekends OT is approved. I don't know why some areas have constant NJA other than maybe it has to do with tier level, offshoring (my group of hospitals does not offshore at the moment), work low if working 9-5 Monday through Friday, or overhiring. Is my group the ONLY group in MQ that always has plenty of work, or is it my schedule and the fact that I do all work types, ASR and straight typing? I would really like to know as I was thinking of changing my schedule. It really scares me to see so many with constant NJA and wondering if it will happen in my area.

I'm tier 3, do all work types, ASR and straight typing work Tues-Sat. late afternoon to late night and have NJA frequently. I'm even a QA which adds another type of work I can do and I get NJA frequently. Who knows what's up.

We get NJA a lot at certain times, but the CCM panics every times there's a job in the system waiting to be done, no matter how many MTs are sitting there waiting for it. If the "backlog" gets up to a dozen jobs, overtime is approved. Go figure.

something like "correction to previous" email regarding line rate increase. At first I thought, okay, that virtually nil line raise WAS a mistake and now they will be giving us a more reasonable raise. Nope, it was the same exact amount. I know some people probably already have mandated weekend shifts, but I have another job I work weekends. I wonder what would happend if I refuse to work weekends?
