New email regarding the "migartion" of email. - Does anyone understand it?

I had no trouble with things. Can I help?

I tried verifying credentials. Can't get in to 365. - Do I have to change my PW first?

Office 365 - imedxMT

Did you use the link that they gave us yesterday before you tried to go to Office 365. If you didn't, that might be the problem. Also, once you change the password and register on Office, they said to give it about 30 minutes before trying to sign back in. You won't have full access after than until around midnight tonight.

I just did mine. - It took 3 minutes.

I am in, no problem.

I did fill in all of the 3 sections (tabs) too once I was in, so that might be the difference: Changed my password, enrolled in security questions, and whatever the third tab was.

Click the link provided in the migration email. In the boxes, use just the username part of your work email to sign in. John Doe would be jdoe from your current work email.

Use the password they gave you in the email (with the I in Imedx capped) as the password.

Set up the security questions and change your password from the Imedx capped one given in the email to your own.

Then, I went back to the original migration email and clicked on the next link with the 365 in it, put in my imedx username and new password, and I was in.

I went to the migration email. Tried to change PW. Can't. It wont' even take my user name. I see no security questions. When did they give me a PW??

For ID put in your user name for the old Imedx e-mail. Then Imedx@123 for password. It will then ask for a new password, put in your new password, for some reason it wouldn't take mine until I put in a # sign or @ sign. It then took it. I then put the website in my favorites bar. By user name that would be only your name and not the entire XXXXX@imedx.net. See if that works. I left the e-mail message and then in a separate window pulled up the new Imedx e-mail system, and that was helpful.

I don't know what the problem is. I never get to the part that asks for a new password. I can't get past the log-in screen. They are supposed to get back to me. I have no clue why this is happening.

I just deleted prior post, as I was given INCORRECT information by IT I was working with. .Net addresses will be moved over by IT 'behind the scenes', they just need you to open an account on the new system, as everyone has explained already. So we ARE being moved over, but no need to back up anything prior. Just open an account.

Either the preexisting email is down or shut down? I cannot sign in.

I was still under the impression from my lead that we were waiting for definitive go ahead? Perhaps I read that wrong?

Said that the old email would be down for several hours Friday night and would not be able to be accessed.

I just got into the new email. I am a .net user, and my inbox moved over and I have new emails there. Unfortunately, as we were told, our folders did not transfer.

I DO already have emails from today (Saturday) in my account, so it is up and running.

Love that we will actually have a working email system.

and it would not allow me to get to the security questions. This morning I tried it myself using my "history" and I did manage to change the PW, but I don't have the link now to try getting into the 365. Can someone please give it to me? I'm trying to avoid calling helpdesk again.
