some newer info regarding platform, pay scale, availability of work, how the lines are counted, etc. TIA

I worked for them several years ago. Overall, the people at the company were very nice, helpful, pay ALWAYS on time, etc., but the accounts I had,and there were several just to keep me busy, had tons of demographics to put in, which was VERY nonproductive, and then maybe 3 or 4 sentences in a clinic note. Then, that pitiful spellcheck, slow platform that took forever to sign out, pull up another report, put ALL the demos in again and another short short note, all to do over again. For me it was extremely time consuming and not productive; I felt like I was spinning my wheels just trying to get past the platform. I asked them repeatedly why it was soooo slow but never any real explanation except that were updating or some such.

I was hired for acute care but never got an acute care account. I asked them for one multiple times but I just kept getting they were really backlogged on these accounts and needed a lot of help. Then hire someone else to do clinic notes!! I was hired for acute care.

I finally just said enough; I was there to make money, not spend most of my time putting in demos, pulling up docs names which were never in the list, but was expected to someone know them..... the lists they provided were never updated and I had just had enough.

Maybe they've updated things and it is better. But their system was slow when I was there. I moved on to somewhere I could really make line counts and be very productive. Good luck!

Any info would be most helpful - platform, QA, etc. This position requires pay per dictation. I've seen the archives about the average pay per minute but does anyone have any experience with this company being paid by the minute?
