Are you with TTS? What is the pay scale range? - Are you raising pay for new employees?

I applied to TTS before but things didn't work out and I decided to stay with my current job with a large national company. If TTS is paying 5cpl for VR and 9cpl for transcription, as posted below by a new TTS employee, I would definitely reapply.

If a TTS person of authority can verify this pay, I see they are recruiting, and would love reapply for a job.

I currently work for TTS and was offered 5 cpl for SR and 9 cpl for typing, but once hired, it went down to 8.4 for typing and 4.2 cpl for SR. I was told that the original account they wanted to hire me for couldn't offer me the hours I want so they put me on a different account that had lesser pay.

I believe legit, but when they sent me info before testing about the positions, they have a computer program that documents if you fingers stop using the keyboard for over 4 secs. I would not test because of this. I didn't want to be monitored that closely every second of my shift. I am used to working a regular shift, but being responsible for getting my lines in on my own during my shift, not being monitored and documented under a microscope. JMO

I was working at TTS (not quite a year), and I was only making 3 cpl for VR and 7 cpl for straight transcription. Just let go a week ago for no work. As far as the knowing if you have your fingers off the keyboard, that never happened to me. They never questioned anything like that. Just hard to make any money and even though the platform is good, still had to make corrections on almost every sentence. Kinda slow.

It's actually 4 minutes, not 4 seconds (how would you ever pee?) and they're not nazis about it as long as you work your schedule (despite what some say, again you don't get the whole story). ALL COMPANIES can see when you are working and when you are not, how many reports you completed, when you logged out, etc, etc. Just because they never mentioned it to you, doesn't mean they aren't monitoring you also. At least they are up front about it. I really don't see the big deal.

If you're not going to take a job, at least make it about a real reason. A job is a job, right? From the looks of things on this board, all companies are about the same (bad mangement and no work), so why make a fuss?

Difference between other companies and TTS is - There are some crazy egos in charge of TTS

I have worked for at least 6 companies since I began production MT work in 1998 including TTS. The difference between TTS and the other companies is there is an inbred streak of ruthless crazy in the actions of the TTS management team headed by the owner. There is no rhyme or reason for the actions of management.

I have just been offered a job and accepted with TTS. I have been able to avoid VR for quite sometime, but will now be doing this. I have heard good and bad so not sure what to expect. Just curious to know pros and cons with TTS?Also curious what to expect with doing VR? 75% of my work will be VR, but mostly clinic account and only 15% of ESL's. Any thoughts and/or opinions or anyone who works there, what do you think?Thanks! ...

Not much in archives & I just started IC with them as a temp position until I find something better. The pay is not great but it is per 63 character line count and the acute account I'm on double spaces PE section so that helps. Platform is DocQscribe which has to be the easiest one I've ever used out of M*Modal/eScription..etc. The speech rec is not as precise as eScription but on the + positive side this IS the 1st company that doesn't QA NITPICK unnecessar ...

I was sent a link to test for this company and was absolutely floored!
