K&T consulting - gintex

I know this company has been discussed previously on the board, but can anyone tell me what platform they use? Do they really let you regulate your own hours and is the pay on time? Thanks so much for information!

I just wanted to let you know that VA accounts no matter who you work for does not include spaces. I guess you already know that since you worked on VA before.

Don't let your companies fool ya like that! I get paid 9 for straight and 7 for VR WITH SPACES!!!!!!

It does depend on the contract. I see the bids for them all the time and they state VBC now, as do a lot of the other State, County, Gov contracts. Seems to be the way things are going unfortunately. Maybe your company has an old contract with options that pays for spaces? I would bet that once those good contracts (with good $$$ and allowance for spaces) come up after the options are exhausted, there will be changes to VBC :(

Perhaps K&R says they get paid VBC, but in fact get paid for spaces and just are not paying the MTs for spaces???

I was just saying, in general, that spaces are paid for for certain VA accounts. It depends on the company, it is not something the VA facilities regulate. So don't let a company tell you that VA's don't pay for spaces - you tell them "no you don't pay for spaces". Call them out on stuff like this. Do they we are complete idiots. Protect yourself and get the facts from those companies. They will hose you if you let 'em.

which is probably the reason for the background checks. I've never personally done a VA account, but heard lots of crappy dictators. Look through the archives and you may find more info.

Do you like working for K&R? Is the pay good? Is it IC or employee? There was so much contradiction on MTStars I wasnâ��t sure what to believe. I believe one MT said they made 9 cpl which made me wonder if it was IC. Would appreciate any info. :-)

Worked with them last year also for awhile - never had problems then and don't have any now. Can you elaborate on your warning?
