MTs w/strong background in oncology wanted - Mdscribe

Modern Day Scribe, a meeting transcription company, is adding more independent contractors to our virtual network. We are looking for:

MTs (medical transcriptionists) with strong backgrounds in oncology for transcription of medical meetings and roundtable discussions. Excellent grammar skills required.

A candidate for our IC Network must be:

• an established independent contractor with a dedicated home office who can commit to being visible in terms of communications via our project management software (strong communication skills are a must);

• available for transcription of a minimum of 60 minutes of audio per 24-hour turn-around, and a minimum of four days/week (note that a guarantee of work is neither implied nor intended);

• proficient in MS Word;

• willing to commit to asking for help when help is needed and offering assistance when other team members need assistance by posting questions and answers on project management tool.

Base Pay, FG work: $1.05 p.a.m. (or $63 p.a.h.); $1.26** w/IDg.

Current Top Rate, FG: $1.35 p.a.m. (or $81 p.a.h.); $1.62** w/IDg.

Base Pay, IDI work: $0.80 p.a.m. (or $48 p.a.h.)

Current Top Rate, IDI: $1.10 p.a.m. (or $66 p.a.h.)

*There are exceptions to every rule, and some projects do come to us on a per-line basis or per-entry basis, depending on the nature of the job. That info will be posted as soon as it’s determined.

**Add 20% to FG rate when IDg of focus group participants is required.

p.a.m. = per audio minute

p.a.h. = per audio hour

FG = focus group (4 or more respondents, not including moderators)

IDI = in-depth interview (1-3 respondents, not including moderators)

Xer = transcriptionist

Xg = transcription; transcribing

QA = Quality Assurance

TAT = turnaround time

IDg = identifying
