what are they going to do? Continue to pay the same crap wages? If Trump manages to cut out India, there will be no contrived "surplus" of transcriptionists, as well. If they figure that then they will all just go to "point and click," well at least that will leave Nuance, which was responsible for lowering our pay to unliveable wages, out of the transcription industry. And out of buying more little ones out so that those MTs can work for minimum wage. They cannot get away with paying such poor pay forever for a skilled job. Nobody is going into the field any more and we are all getting older. The handwriting is on the wall. The Indians also seem to be unhappy with the crap wages, never a pay raise and crap benefits, too. So their means of paying ultra cheap will also ultimately end. Wonder if those consultants have thought of that?
