He is very clearly stating "4 5 outrigger cast" but I can't seem to find this anywhere and not sure exactly how this is supposed to be written...
Thanks:) ...
Just curious, did anyone listen to this webcast? What a joke. More importantly, was anyone notified ahead of time that it was going to occur so we could submit our questions? Guess I missed it because I would have a ton of questions for him. why are we getting paid slave wages, when do we get our vacation time back? Why are overseas employees treated like gold and we're treated like sh**!? As usual, we get NO INPUT. They do NOT want to hear from us at al ...
"She had a fairly significant increase in pain. We were concerned about the possibility of swelling inside the cast. We cut it in a s/l "bi val" or "bioval" fashion and released some of the pain."
Can anyone help with this one? ...
Will someone please tell me if the terms short leg cast and long leg cast should be hyphenated, i.e., short-leg and long-leg? Thanks to all you smart peeps. I love this forum! ...
This is exciting, you guys! Our local NPR station (where I work full time) is planning to air an hour-long radio cast about the effects of the electronic medical records implementation on our MT careers. I was telling our producer that I worked for 27 years as a full-time MT, both in the clinic/hospital setting and at home, but 5 years ago I could no longer make it financially as a full-time MT. That's when I went to work in the public sector doing something unrelated to t ...
I can't seem to find this listed anywhere. It sounds pretty clear...does anyone know the correct spelling or does the dictator actually mean "Jell-O"-?! ...
He really sounds like he is saying "cobra cast" but cannot locate in Stedman's or online. The
VR actually picked it up as Kober cast, but I cannot locate that term either, and it really does
sound like "cobra." Anyone come across this one? Thanks in advance. :) ...
The ENT physician dictates: I took the splints out and the ?"Ocoplast" off, and his nose is nice and straight. What is that word? - thanks in advance. ...
Hi,
The patient is a teenager with a displaced Salter II fracture of the index finger. The cast is so he can play football. I'm really coming up empty handed on my google search this time. I found 2 (count em TWO) results for RTV-11 cast, which is something but doesn't really build my confidence.
Thanks! ...
I've never heard this term before, but it sounds very clear. However, I can't verify it? I have, of course, heard of a long-arm cast but just never a "club" cast. Anyone know if this is correct? This is after surgery for web space deepening and doing some ligament transfer and ligament reconstructions on the hand, when he's doing the final dressing and puts on a cast at the end of the surgery. Thanks in advance. ...

Is there a way in AutoCorrect (Word 2010) to change a comma to a period and then cap the next word to make VR go a little faster? The platform at my old company did this automatically, but MS Word does not : (
This is so frustrating having to change from a comma to a period (or vice versa)--which as you all know happens constantly...and then change the next word to be capitalized (or uncapped)....my wrists are killing me, not to mention it takes so much TIME.....
There HAS to be a better ...
Is it possible to do this in MS Word 2010? I'm using AutoCorrect and there isn't a way to do it that I know of. What do all of you doing VR do for the CONSTANT having to change a comma to a period and cap the next word easily? Any suggestions would be SOOOOO very appreciated. ...
I will be changing from Word 2000 to Word 2003 and have a few questions. I am not that great at figuring tech stuff out so hopefully someone will be able to help me. Will changing from 2000 to 2003 affect anything on my computer at all, i.e., will all my other software work okay. I rely on my PC Shorthand expander and my electronic Stedman's books, plus how about my Stedman's medical spellchecker, will they all work the same or do I need to do anything to make sure th ...
