visual acuity 2200, 2400 is that 22/100 or 20/200? - Confused

The whole sentance is - Visual acuity without correction is 2400 in the right eye 2200 in the left with correction 20/30 bilaterally. Would that be 24/100 or 20/400 or just plain 2400.

if 2400 right and 2200 left is what is dictated then - hmmm

that is what you transcribe. I wonder if the numbers you think you hear are something else such as 20/40? Pay close attention.

20/200 and 20/400 are correct. I personally have 20/800 vision without corrective lenses.

It should be 20/400 and 20/200. For example, regular vision is 20/20, so that means you can see at 20 feet what a normal person can see at 20 feet.

If you are nearsighted, without glasses you would have to be 20 feet away from an object that a normal vision person can see at 400 feet. Get it?

So, a nearsighted person without glasses could very well have 20/400 vision in one eye and 20/200 in the other, and then when they put glasses on, it corrects to 20/30 bilaterally. Not perfect, but a whole lot better than without glasses!

Not sure how to type this out properly. Dictated is: "Visual acuity is 20 15 minus 1 OD 20 40 minus 1 OS without correction." Now I know O D needs to be changed to right eye, but the numbered part has me hesitant. Should it be 20/15 -1? 10-15, -1? I appreciate any insight. THanks. ...

Am doing QA on a report where dictator stated the patient was placed on a 2200-kilocalorie diet. I'm not a mathematician, but wouldn't that be somewhere in the range of 2,200,000 calories per day? She dictated it twice in the report. Can someone enlighten me? Thank you. ...

The Acuity platform has been hard for me to make a decent line count on. I used to have no problem making over 1200 lines a day, but now I struggle to make 900. What can you do to improve your production? How long did it take to get up to speed? I've been working in it for a while, and it seem to be taking me a lot longer to make a decent line count than the other programs I've worked with.
