I've been doing acute care for 13 years, and now all of a sudden, the ASR software I'm using is captializing the S, in Harmonic Scalpel. I know the Harmonic gets capitalized, but is the S in scalpel supposed to be caitalized? You know how the Internet is, you see all sorts of things. And weird things are capitalized for logo advertising purposes and things. Anyone? ...
So, in text should it be #-blade or # blade (i.e., 11-blade or 11 blade)? It would make sense to be that it should be 11 blade, but there are many MTs who type 11-blade (or 15-blade or whatever). When editing for my hospital, I change it to 11 blade, but I'm starting to doubt myself.
