old fashion phrase? - sm

Posted: Apr 03, 2012

Dictated: "If the s/l tick of relief is temporary then return to the office."

I've never heard of anything like this :(

Can you hear symptomatic, maybe part cut off? - Just guessing here

I think this is an old fashioned phrase, like a - "tick up" of relief, SM

[ In Reply To ..]
meaning just a bit up? I have heard this phrase used before in other contexts.

I've heard this being used when talking about - the economy, SM

[ In Reply To ..]
unemployement, etc. The numbers "ticked up"

TICK - INMT

Could it possibly be "tincture" that is what immediately popped in my head when I read the sentence.
