medication listing question - hh

When typing out medications patient is taking. Can you type it like this?
LESCOL
ZANTAC
TOPROL
LASIX
etc.
Or does it matter?
Only all-caps meds if they're allergies. Med lists should be numbered. - nm

You want to save using all caps for allergies. Do what the client wants or you can use the following formats:
Lescol, Zantac, etc....
(1) Lescol, (2) Zantac.....
or
1. Les-col.
2. Zantac
What matters is not what - someone else does

It is what your client wants. Ask you client how they want it done, then do it that way. Just because one person's client may want allergies in all capes does not mean your client will want it that way. Don't ask someone who doesn't know what your client wants. Ask your client.
We can't read your client's mind, nor can you. Ask your client.
Account specs do not trump ALL-message - justmeDLC

Client account specs do not trump all. What a doctor asks for in the report trumps ALL, then account specs, then BOS. :)

Number Sign And Listing In ASR Jan 28, 2010In ASR I was told that when there is a list (docs usually say "next number"...) and the machine puts the # sign, that the "system would automatically make a numerical list, converting the # sign to an actual number".:

#...
One one report I had a report that had #, about three or four of them and I sent it through. I got negative feedback, because I had left the # in and didn't type out the number. Yet on others, nothing ever came back!
