the doctor clearly states "lactate penia" cannot confirm spelling on this.

no he clearly states lactate penia as he was talking about an elevated lactic acid level on labs. I do not believe there is such a word as lactate penia he might have been making it up, :) Thanks for replying though!

leukopenia along with elevated lactic acid - sm

is a sign of sepsis, infection, and who knows what else. This is why it's important to give context, full sentences, etc.
