aorto bi iliac - where do the hyphens go?

I found it the following ways:

aortobiiliac

aorto bi-iliac

aorto-bi-iliac

How do any of you write it?

My "rule" is to put a hyphen between two recurring vowels: bi-iliac, intra-articular, re-evaluate, etc.

If it had just been aortoiliac, no question. Bi-iliac, no question. It was the aortobiiliac that threw me.

But never mind. I got my answer elsewhere.

Pull the jade out. It might improve your disposition.

my surgery book has it aortobi-iliac - nm
