Anybody good with PT/rehab terms? PT assessment

Patient performs s/l "clenched transfers" or "clinched transfers" or "Clint's transfers".

I can't find any of them.

Post some of the surrounding information. The closest I can come up with is "bench transfers," but the rest of the sentence would help.

It's under the heading Functional Testing
"Repetitive extension in lying, increased central and right low back pain, centralizing symptoms from the right buttocks. The pt performed 09:13.9_____ transfers with mild distress."

The first time I heard it, I thought it was "clenched transfers", but this time I wasn't so sure. The Cl sound at the beginning seems to be consistent both times.

I don't know what 09:13.9 is - ?

There are transfer benches for patient's in physical therapy. So I vote for bench. :)

I have never coded/billed for physical therapy. The scenario is: eval (97001), application of hot/cold packs (97010), and 3 minutes of ultrasound (97035). I checked the cms website and other sites relating to physical therapy, but they are all unclear. Should I bill/code this as 97001 and 97010-59? ...

They want me to come in tomorrow at 2:30 for an appointment. Nervous!! I feel like if they wre going to turn me down it would have been through the mail and not wasting thier time and mine with an appointment. Hopefully this is something definitive and not just needing more paperwork filled out. Has anyone that applied to them received any feedback?? I know there was a lot of talk on this board about them being a scam. They were very prompt in sending me a test dictation after I submitted my resume, but for some reason not so prompt in getting back with any results. The test was easy, as it was only one dictation fiile approximately 2 minutes long. Just curious if anyone has heard anything back - if not - then it probably was a scam, which has not affected me yet thankfully. ...

This report was typed in the last couple of days, some two years almost since there has supposedly been NO MEDQUIST, but only M-Modal?????? Could it just be an IT glitch that has yet to be corrected or is there still some form of MQ? ...
