Had QA correct me on speech therapy to Speech Therapy - sigh

The phrase is She will be evaluated by PT, OT and speech therapy, corrected to She will be evaluated by PT, OT and Speech Therapy. I thought it was only capitalized in when followed by a proper name like Montana Central Hospital Speech Therapy.

"Much confusion exists with certain words that can function as both common nouns and organizational entities...When they are functioning in the sentence as an organizational entity, they should be capitalized."
Examples:
The specimen was sent for pathology.
The specimen was sent to Pathology (the pathology department).
In your example:
The patient was evaluated by Speech Therapy (organizational entity).
If it was worded differently, such as "The patient was sent for speech therapy," you would be correct in that it would not be capitalized.
