CHOP/Dana Farber could also be Children's Hospital of Philadelphia meaning a clinical trial is being undertaken at both institutions. Would check NIH.gov for clinical trials being done at either hospital. Hope it helps.
The electronic documentation is going to be nationwide. Incentives were put in place by the Federal govt to get physicians and hospitals away from paper charts. Eventually the incentives become punishments if you don't switch over. Anyone else heard about this? How can they "phase out" MTs? Does the Federal govt not realize the much needed jobs many of us will lose? ...

Not really a word question, more style - which is actually correct tibia-fibula or tibia/fibula, I have seen it both ways and an account I used to work on it required it to be tibia/fibula, however, corrected by QA to be tibia-fibula, so am I to assume that is the correct way to transcribe it? ...
Looking for the ADHI / book of style / transcription rules regarding drawer tests. I have found loads of posts on this subject, but they contradict each other. Does anyone know the "true" accepted format when discussing anterior and posterior drawer tests?
is it:
anterior-posterior drawer
anterior/posterior drawer
anterior and posterior drawer
Along these same lines, is there a generally accepted format for varus-valgus stress testing? hyphen, slash, or and?

It does not look like my original Smartype. There is only a suggestion box and no Smartline like I am used to, but I have adjusted the suggestion box and it's better. I am getting used to it. I like how fast it is. The vocabulary seems bigger, especially the phrases.
I'm going to spend some time importing my old ST entries this afternoon.

There is controversial literature regarding the benefit of radiation, with the benefit of survival seen in the ECOG trial published by Loehrer, et al. Although the recent "lab seven" trial did not show a benefit in overall survival to radiotherapy, it was in subsequent analyses shown to have a better survival, and there was better quality assurance with the radiation fields showing that properly performed radiation therapy may actually provide a benefit. ...
