s/l oraganal...sentence says "there is no evidence to suggest ORAGANAL or skeletal metastasis"?????

the doc is making up a new word from the original form of the word "organ"as you would skeleton/skeletal...organ/organal. But...organelle is just a part of a cell so it's really hard to say what the mind set of this doc is. ; )

Thank you. I sent it back to QA who sent it back to me because they couldnt find it either!!!! I would think he was making it up...he even spelled it WRONG! Thanks for the help though, I appreciate it!!!

The doc is adding the ending "al" to the word. "al" means pertaining to so organal the way the doc is using it I would say that is what he is saying. You can put "al" at the end of a word when you are conveying a reference to that word, such as mathmatical, musical, mystical or medically speaking menstural, abdominal, etc.

It is just an unusual awkward way of saying it. But then, Docs never do that do they? :)

I'm having trouble with a report with some radiology terms. My question is: Is the word I am typing "hyper-avid" an actual term that makes sense in this sentence?
