Whipple procedure with a pancreaticoduodenectomy and cholecystectomy. Doc keeps saying s/l hister clamp and I don't find evident for either hister or hyster.

This doc has said this on several occasions, a type of clamp. Sounds like "my clamp" and used as follows: "Then a My clamp was clamped at the base of the left corpora." Have tried mai, mey, my, mye, but all to no avail and cannot document this. Any ideas? ...
Has anyone come across this? A surgeon just spelled this for me - he rarely spells anything and is one of the more reliable dictators. I can, of course, find references to this spelling on the internet, but none that I'm totally confident in. Is there actually an "Alyce" as well as an "Allis" clamp? (surgery is a hemorrhoidectomy) ...
The uterus was clamped at the adnexa with a large _______ clamp. I really can't tell what it's saying...MAYBE "angled Z clamp", but I don't really know. It is a hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy. What are my choices? ...
Hello! Having some hyphen trouble.
Here is the sentence: ... and the pedicle of the ovary and tube were cross clamped with right-angles.
Does right angles need a hyphen. I know if it is "a right-angle clamp," then it needs a hyphen, but what about if it comes later like the sentence before.
Is it "clamped with right angles" or "clamped with right-angles?"
Is this capitalized? I did not think so!
Also, is it supposed to have an "s" on i ...

Surgeon says:
Two screws fractured at the level of the bone. They were ____________ and removed in the usual fashion.

Thanks in advance. :) ...
Can someone verify for me the correct way to transcribe this -first dorsal compartment or 1st dorsal compartment? Also - please give where to verify/prove this if you can. Thanks! ...
This surgeon dictates the same over and over in multiple reports, and I cannot understand what type of testing this is.
"s/l Manuar test reveals 5/5 strength in forward elevation, external rotation, internal rotation, and abduction."
"s/l The remainder of Manuar assessment exam of left upper extremity reveals 5/5 strength throughout all major muscle groups."
I thought about the possibility of manual test, but that just does not sound like what he is saying. Thanks so much! ...
I see it both ways and don't use it much myself but it always makes me wonder which is "proper" and why?
Or is it just a matter of preference?
thank you. ...
I know this is something small and silly but she says it twice and it sounds the same way to me. It is an ER report on a pt with knee pain.
There is pain to palpation of the anterior portion of the patellar area radiating down into the s/l "empatellar" tendon area. Or inpatellar, or enpatellar.
Any ideas?
