This is driving me INSANE!! It sounds like he's saying "eye, trach and ossafinic membranes are clear." What could he possibly be saying? I'm so lost and I just cannot figure it out!

I'm trying to figure out this one sentence that sounds like this: "Otoscopy reveals excellent hemotympanum of membrane to be intact with normal image".   That really doesn't sound right to me though! I don't think hemotympanum would be excellent.... ...

Need help with an ESL med student.  She is from Rwanda. She states, "The ear canals are clear with "horsey" tympanic membranes." She says this frequently and I cannot figure out what she is really saying. QA hasn't filled in this blank on other reports either. TIA! ...
