Koh/KOH ring - confused

With regard to a lap hysterectomy dictator uses a Koh/KOH ring... is this capped or not... my Stedmans OB and Surg word books have Koh colpotomixer system so that is what I used, but QA just nailed me for not using KOH... any opinions?

It's named for Dr. Koh, but I can find references to both Koh and KOH depending on manufacturer. Maybe they dinged you for spelling colpotomizer wrong.

No, colpotomizer was not even in dictation, it was just the only way I could find Stedman's reference to Koh/KOH. QA changed my Koh to KOH in several placed in the report. Thanks for your input... still taking suggestions LOL!

like I said above, Koh is an eponynm, not an acronym - ...

QA is wrong, but I wouldn't expect them to know that.

I agree and when I have made mention of sources I use for other terminology they have corrected, they never return an answer to me... so, I am going to leave these things correct and let them be wrong :)
