Intraventricular conduction delay versus intervenricular conduction delay - starstruck

Is there any way to tell the difference between these two terms? I don't really understand what they mean other than *inter*ventricular would mean occuring between the 2 ventricles and *intra*ventricular occuring within one ventricle. Right?? I am doing a cardiology report right now and really can't distinguish the difference. The doctor gives some terms regarding what's going on like long Q-T and left atrial enlargement. Can someone point me to a site that explains this in great, REALLY easy-to-understand detail? Or tell me in your own human being terms that I really *will* understand. Thanks in advance.

While electrical activity takes place within and between ventricles, as well as throughout the myocardium, it is my understanding that conduction abnormalities seen on a surface EKG are of the intraventricular type, having to do with the intraventricular bundles (right, left, etc.)

Plus, I have the Complete Guide to ECGs on my lap (Jones and Bartlett Publishers) and it discusses only intraventricular conduction delays, not inter- :)

If it helps any, I have heard doctors mispronounce intra/inter in this context for years.

Thanks for responding. It bothers me that often I'm typing and really don't have a good idea of exactly *what* it is I'm typing. It really helps to have even the most basic idea of what's going on.

I am not familiar with VR and have never used it, but I understand that there is a difference between voice recognition (VR) and speech recognition (SR). When physician clear dictates "emergency deparment" why does ASR continue to put "emergency room?" I suspect it is because ED has fewer characters than ER, hence, less pay, and this is easily overlooked if one is not focused.
