A cant is an older English word for a pace, or gait.
When the word "canter" is used about horses, it goes like this: The canter is a controlled, three-beat gait performed by a horse. It is a natural gait possessed by all horses. Could easily apply to humans.

Has anyone ever heard ambulation used to mean anything other than walking on the lower extremities? I just had a dictator say: "The patient is able to walk a few steps; otherwise, he is ambulating in a wheelchair."
Really????
Still pushin' da pedal.... ...
The doctor is explaining the pt's ambulation due to lumbosacral spondylosis for which he is doing radiofrequency ablation for.
It s/l he is saying "list."
With ambulation she has definitely got a significant (list) to the left side. She can heel-and-toe walk without much difficulty, and her balance appears to be quite good.

That means my paycheck tomorrow will have about $400 deducted from it just for that error. The email basically said "Ooops, sorry about our mistake you will be reimbursed with *next* paycheck."
That means a 2-week wait for their mistake. I am not desperate for the money (thank ...
Is anyone getting work?? I am told there is plenty of work, but keep getting "no jobs available". If you are getting work, when do you get it?? I have flexed every way I know and still get no work. If you are getting work, are you milking the system 24 hours a day to get it?? If someone would please tell me how they are making production requirements I would sure appreicate it, because I haven't made it for months now. ...
Just switched to Express Scribe and trying to figure out a setting. I have quite a few dictators where I just listen to the dictation and change a few words here and there.
However, when I hit the foot pedal to fast forward through the report it will only fast forward for a few seconds and then it goes back to normal speed. Anyone know how to change the setting where it would continue to move in fast forward speed until I take my foot off the pedal.
Any help is appreciated! ...
not sure if its all correct in this format or if there should be a period after the word area and then "on forward flexion he remains absolutely flat." Tia. ...
in case I get fired later if I don't keep meeting their "metrics," which, face it, I won't. I want to have the email to show unemployment if they fire me for poor performance. However, how are you guys saving these emails? World Client doesn't allow you to forward it to another email. Is there another way to save these in a format that will be acceptable? ...
