***has chronic kidney disease stage IV with an estimated GFR of 19 mL/min per 1.3 m2. I am mostly concerned about the 1.3 meters squared. Is this correct?
They all do the GFR as mL/min.
I also do pain management and vascular surgery, and the doctors in these practices routinely dictate values at cm/sec and M/sec. An internal medicine doctor gives mg/mL or mg/cc.
The slash is acceptable for entities other than measures, regardless of what BOS says.
