Doctor says he will get a s/l "carrot-type" prosthetic for patient's hand to help contractures. Any ideas?

Anyone else experience this? I might have several really crappy dictators in my cue and then one great one (either very clear or always uses a long normal). My employer has started resorting to the carrot-on-a-stick game to try to squeeze more work out of us when TATs get behind. One "carrot" is so-called "premium" pay for working extra hours on the weekend.
