The hospital I work for is currently in the process of switching over to the Dolbey Fusion Text package. If anyone familiar with this? Supposedly our productivity will go up 50%. Thanks for any input.

The hospital where I work put in a Dolby fusion system in 2009. It was the final step in allowing the transcriptionists to go home. Yes, it does improve production. As far as what I know about the system it has worked great. We just added the voice processing feature to it which I personally think is a waste of money. They started voice for radiology and only about 3 or 4 other docs. I asked if they were going to add anymore and was told no due to the cost of the license. I also asked if our salary would go down when we got on voice processing and was told no. So far it hasn't and we've been on voice now for about a year I think.

Company is always good about returning calls, etc. and they talk in sentences we can understand not some companies who talk above your head. All I weant to know about the computer is tell me how to do my job. Not interested in how many bites there are or what it takes to run this program or that program.

Hi everyone. The doctor s/l he is saying: "We have also talked about the off labral use of the MP in the posterolateral recess and posterior interbody spacers." I think that's what he is saying, not sure of the bold words. DX is lumbar instability, stenosis & radiculopathy L3-4 and 4-5. There is also a synovial cyst off L3-4. doc says: He does describe some discomfort over the intersections. On the pressure or palpation over this does not seem to accentuate this. I am assuming it is intersections and not inner sections.
