Just switched to Express Scribe and trying to figure out a setting. I have quite a few dictators where I just listen to the dictation and change a few words here and there. However, when I hit the foot pedal to fast forward through the report it will only fast forward for a few seconds and then it goes back to normal speed. Anyone know how to change the setting where it would continue to move in fast forward speed until I take my foot off the pedal. Any help is appreciated! ...

I have voice files sent to me that I cannot play in Windows Media or Express Scribe. They will load in ES but show 00:00 duration. I thought possibly it was an encryption error as they possibly they are coming that way to be because they are secure but I sent to a friend and she can open them and play them. I have just started having trouble with Express Scribe. Regardless of whether I am using the foot pedal or the function keys, it is as if the program does not recognize what I am doing.
