Here is what I put in this petition - I tried not to make it specific to MT, as there are more jobs that need to come back than just ours.
Stop the overseas off-shoring of American jobs - at least stop those that contain personal information. (this is the title to search for at "we the people" if the link does not post)
Stop the overseas off-shoring of American Jobs will keep American Jobs in American, will keep American money in America. Once that money leaves it will never return to circulate here again! Jobs have been leaving the US for foreign countries at a rapid pace, especially with medical records, credit card billing, bill collection and other IT industries. Have you tried calling a credit reporting agency lately and gotten a real person? They are all overseas! Senator Levin is on the same page as is Rep Stabenow. A lot of Americans use to make good money processing personal info, but not since 2004 with the repatriation tax break started. These companies only pay 5% tax, while American companies pay 31%. Bring our jobs back from overseas and put Americans back to work.

This past year I have read dozens of articles about "accredited" schools that are "approved for federal student loans", that enroll students, enticing them by offering financial aid, pressuring them to enroll even, calling them, e-maiing them, then, after they get them enrolled, not teaching them enough so they can get a job to repay those student loans. I did a search today and there are dozens of articles talking about how students are thousands of dollars in debt for student loans when the education they got was so poor that they can't find a job at all. Why, oh why, oh why can't the students hit the PAUSE button when they are dictating to gather their thoughts? Why must I sit through listening to page turning, and "thinking" noises?
