I hate working on Dictaphone for the simple reason that you cannot listen to "errors" found on FIESA. You can only ask your TSM to listen to something.
This is why I continue to refuse to sign off on FIESA! I am not going to sign off on an error when my TSM is able to listen but not me. That tells me that this software was purposefully set up so that the lowly MT can never refute an error. If a TSM has the capability of listening to it, how hard could it be for the developers to have added this feature for the MT. As in, I've worked on systems where noone could listen to a file (or it was impossibly hard) once it was returned to the client, but that's not what's happening. It's just that certain people can't listen.
I've been told by IT that this software is not getting updated, so that feature isn't "in the works." It's an old piece of software that for some requires the use of XP, a system that Nuance itself has said they require all employees to upgrade from (you know, other than those on the Dictaphone platforms which aren't getting updated).
Sorry, just had to vent. As you can imagine, just got a FIESA/FIASCO report that I simply cannot believe I would have missed what the doctor said, yet I cannot listen to it. And before you say ask my TSM to listen and dispute it, my TSM has never sided with me on a dispute. She always says the reviewer was correct, yet my previous TSM would go to bat for me, and 9/10, I would be correct and it would get reversed.
