How many COMs have released the little bit - of information and why is this allowed?

Posted: Nov 25, 2014

If this a company program, why is info only leaked out here and there and not across the board?

I think this is someone's idea of a sick joke. sm - Do not believe this

At 2 cents a line, I would have to constantly edit almost 475 lines per hour to make minimum wage in my state. BS

They're not going to go lower than the industry standard. - x

Look at the other large companies and see what they have already done. Nuance is just following in their footsteps. First thing to go will be the bonuses and incentives. I don't know what "exciting plans" they have or how they're going to sugar coat it, but I seriously, seriously doubt they're cutting your cpl in half. Somebody is just playing a sick game to see how many people she can rile up. And I have no doubt that the person who said she also received the email is the OP, trying to give herself credibility.

I hope you guys are right. - nm

And if you are right and the truth comes out that you're right, I'm going to request of the moderator that she find out who started this crap, get to the bottom of it and take care of it. Don't allow this kind of stuff.
Just look at the times of those posts. - x

First post at 6 p.m. Nobody posted a reply. Exactly 30 minutes later, the "second person" posted that she received the same email. Still no replies. Almost 30 minutes later, person #3 verifies that she too has received the news. And then that person...the SAME person that wrote them all...sits back for the next 5 days because of the long weekend and watches everybody spin out of control.

It's sick. And I can tell that person that she should know better, if she is an MT. Holidays are extremely stressful, with increasing numbers of suicides and attempts and psychotic breaks. I hope she thinks about that as she lays her head down on her pillow with a smile on her face, knowing that she's possibly done more than just ruin Thanksgiving for someone. If she has any conscience she'll remove her post.
"Just look at the times" Thank you! - I so agree.

I must admit, they had me for a while.

Doesn't Nuance call them TSMs across the board, not COMs? I don't this person works for N at all.
Looks like they deleted post - sm

Why would someone deliberately start that crap? I fell for it too and lay awake last night thinking about going ahead and turning in my notice before the mass exodus that would create. We are all on edge enough about the upcoming changes and to think someone might have done this deliberately to stir us up is unforgiveable.

When someone threatened to pull administrator in on this the thread was pulled. That says something to me.

Aren't the COMS over the TSMs? If the TSMs are not spilling the beans I would think it highly unlikely their supervisors would.

Let's hope and pray this was all posted by a sick mind rather than someone really in the know.
Does this mean the moderator pulled the thread? sm - Do Not Believe This

If an individual deletes, all we would see is the lines through the original post for a few days. This one is gooonnnneee.

There is a troublemaker on this forum. Perhaps more than one. You can usually spot their posts. Doubt this one worked for N, as well.
I deleted the post - Moderator

... I didn't see that post. I'm assuming it was some info about a ridiculously huge pay cut. I'm already teetering on the edge of turning in my notice. That would have surely pushed me over that edge. I plan on getting out of this industry one day, but at the moment I do need this job. Kudos to the moderator who deleted that post.
Coms are 1 level higher than TSMs.. nm - anon

I don't like to be an alarmist, but Nuance SET the industry standard - SM

They are the big company and they will do it again if they can get away with it. They will get away with it, if they do, because no one will say I've had enough. No one will quit. No one will try to organize a union.

You all might be kidding yourselves.

Not really - x

Nuance is one of the few to still have bonuses and incentives. The other large companies out there haven't done that in years. Industry standard is 90-95% of reports are VR at 3-5 cpl. No bonuses, no incentives. Penalized monetarily for going over the amount sent for proofing. Penalized monetarily if you fall below quality control standards.

Nuance is a large company but they are not the largest and they still offer (up until December 25th anyway) things the other large companies haven't offered in years.

havent read this whole thread but do believe that was - a sick hoax; its been removed

personally I have verbally spoken with both TSM and COM recently and they both say there will definitely be NO PAY CUT, though I do find that a little hard to believe as it is the Nuance way.

I saw that post last night, which is completely gone now, and the OP did not make sense and was very vague, but it upset me greatly at first, then I thought back on my recent "talks" and surely they would not just blatantly lie like that but, again, we shall see. Fingers and toes crossed.

A report from a two-year study was just released about 30 of the very large colleges that are approved for federal financial aid.
