I was going to apply to QED but found that they do not take applicants from California.
I was going to apply to Inscribe but apparently their system does not get along with my Win 7 64-bit OS or my MS Word 2010.
I'm just glad I didn't go through the testing process before finding this out!
FYI: MTs, esp. new ones: When you're researching companies, you can save yourself a lot of time and frustration by checking these basics first.

[ In Reply To ..]Most companies are never compatible to the most recent Word version out there (except WebChartMD), as it cost companies a lot of money to upgrade as soon as it comes out. Some are still not compatible with Word 2007. I have seen 64 bit as an issue with many companies as well. .it is a security encription problem, so they only deal with 32 bit.
It's a shame that a lot of the schools are not informing their students what "the industry" is using as most students are purchasing new computers and MACs for schooling only to find out they cannot work, not only because of the limited no-experience positions, but because their computer is "too new."
