My entire "pool" is completely and utterly out of work. My sup emailed today saying we could plan a day off if we wanted. Before you say it, I KNOW this time of year is feast or famine, don't need to tell me (I've been an MT for 15 years), but this is ridiculous. Its been slowly dwindling since late summer where I was scrounging around for ANY SHIFT that would provide me a few lines, now its NOTHING.
I have a backup job that is also empty, but for a company (MQ) that was paying bonuses this summer for people to work extra, they apparently needed help (not that I ever made money from these), but now NOTHING. Not one single job in my pool. When I look up in the DEP list, there is nothing out of TAT, and only maybe half of the usual clients are even listed because they are empty. This is very, very sad.

It does not make sense that some of us have work and others have been out for weeks to months, especially in the same service area.
Something is up... Something is rotten in Q-ville.

I hope that all of those BIG shots have a wonderful Christmas and get their big bonuses - the workerbees will be lucky to pay their bills.

MD-MDI was bought out by Transcend, and they've gotten the same type of treatment.
Either they think we don't talk amongst ourselves or they just don't care. It all ends up in the same "recycle bin."
