that all those running out of work will be forced to work all hours of the day and night now to maintain health benefits. This is probably their way of filling up graveyard shifts that they've previously been unable to fill.

Can you just picture the looks on their faces when they come up with these devious plans.

must be they needed an across the board raise for everyone. the rich get richer, the poor get poorer. I lost some PTO and shift diff, but i really feel bad for those dedicated MTs who have years of service and just lost a lot of money. if they are like me, they count on that money. what is sad is there ain't a thing we can do about it but take it or leave.

or works from home anymore. I still do MT but its in a clinic and by the hour for pretty good pay. I have worked for every service out there and I know that this clinic work will end too so I've been going to school. I just don't understand why everyone doesn't stop working for MTSOs immediately. They are screwing you over, people. They are breaking labor laws on what transcription is left in the U.S. and shipping the rest overseas. And everyone just sits here and takes it and complains. A-MAZING. Leave them and go get a job doing anything else. Everything pays better than MT by the line. Can't you see that?

Change to MT rewards??????? Guess merely getting minimum wage and spending our PTO for NJA was our reward. I was trying to hold out until January when I graduate.

I don't really get the dislikes on this post. My hospital work went to Nuance and I stayed on all of a couple of months, just long enough to understand how DEGRADING it was working for such an organization. So many complain, but honestly don't see a lot doing something about it! I know jobs aren't a dime a dozen right now, but just keep working away while looking for something else. Just having a plan to get out and working toward the goal, knowing an end is in sight working for these crooks, should help keep your spirit up!

I am in college right now for transcription, and am just getting in to using the SUM program... I start summer semester on Monday and am disabled with no use of my legs, I use the Phillips USB hand control in place of a foot pedal. Well SUM doesn't work with it... Has anyone else noticed extreme pain pop up since SR became the norm? I used to get tired fingers, but nothing like has come on the last few years. I'm on the verge of surgery from tennis elbow on both sides, CT on both sides, can't move my hands for a half hour after I wake up in the morning, etc. All the years of typing didn't bring this on, but 3 years of SR has. Have been having a very aggravating issue lately with my left hand. There is no pain, no numbness, no temperature change issues, but rather a lack of coordination in regards to my left hand pinky and ring fingers only. When trying to put hands on home keys or use the pinky or ring finger they curl up and I almost have to physically straighten them.
