Another idea of MQ's that might sound good in theory but in practice this is totally ridiculous.

First off, I can't even get any reports to come up....I tried different variations of entering info into the search, only to get nothing back.....so stupid.

Second, do they really think we can do this with how LONG it takes.....first you have to sign out of DQS, then sign back in with a different password to get to DQM? Get out of here!

I was hoping that maybe at least I could look thru them when I'm not working so wouldn't have to while working....but apparently you have to be working to even have access to them?

You shouldn't have to sign out of DQS...you should be able to open another window for DQM. Do you sign out of DQS to do any research to?

This is insane! I tried by doctor, I tried by patient, I cannot getanything to come up.

If someone has gotten reports to magically appear, please state how!

Are all accounts set up for this?

They haven't gotten it all going yet. Supposedly it's coming soon.

Right now you get into it using your DQM "backlog" sign-in info. You don't access the area via F5 in DQS like you would to access the standards, line count, repository, etc.

I've been able to pull up the reports I'm looking for but not open anything up either yet. The only good thing about it so far is I found a couple of patient names for reports that the ADT info wasn't coming up due to wrong the MRN #.

I've used this DQM search at another MTSO and it's a great function to have. You can look up past reports and actually verify a lot of info that way instead of needing to send to QA. You can also cut and paste reports to help out in that manner.

Dep, then search, dictator plus date range, dictated, facility name, doc name, I used last month, left everything else as is...click and wait. It takes me about 5 minutes to get reports up.

Funny thing is that I did a bunch just to test drive and found errors in all of them. LOL, we're all only human!

They definitely need to simplify this to make it into anything we'll ever use. HTH some. :o)

So let me get this straight: I want to put a physician's name in the report. I hit CTRL + N and start typing the last name. Before, it was nice. The search would happen automatically. NOW I have to tell it to search (even for mandatory ADT names when you hit enter to get to the physician lookup)? Why? That is another keystroke that is wasted, and add to that, it was nice before that if you hit the letter 's' it would scroll to all the docs with last name ...
