Are you talking about Find? - MTMt

You know they have to change the names of things with every new version! lol If you are talking about trying to find a word you previously typed, I can help you. When you're in a document and the Home tab is the active tab at the top, look to the far upper right corner and you'll see a picture of binoculars with the word Find next to it. Just click on that and a new screen will open on the left side of the screen. It will show you every instance where the word appears, and you can click on them to go right to that spot in the report.
Shortcut to get there is Ctrl + F.
Hope this helps!
Not Find (Ctrl +F)--Lookup lets you search Bing directly from the document...S/M - OP

The Lookup function lets you search Bing or other search engines directly from your Word document and it is also in Word 2007 and 2003. I guess Mircosoft didn't think people would need it often and didn't create a short key for it. I have looked everywhere on the internet and Help files. I use it daily.
Right click in a Word document and go down the list that pops up in and you will see 'Lookup' near the bottom. When you have the cursor on a word and select lookup it will search the internet for you. It is much faster than copy and pasting or retyping the words to my browser! I use it to check medical spellings and terms a lot!
Thanks for this trick - NotNewMT

I just started using Word 2010 myself recently, but never knew about the Lookup function. All this time I've been wasting for years! Thanks for the tip!
I would suggest going to Microsoft and look for the tech forums. Perhaps your question has already been answered there. If not, you can post questions there and hopefully someone will answer. I posted a question and found out how to create some shortcuts that I use all the time. If you do an get an answer, will you share it with us? I would love to add a quick lookup feature to my daily routine. TIA!

Hi
I use Shorthand in word2003. I have a paragraph that I use all the time and would like to put it into shorthand, but my problem is the bolding...several words in the paragraph are bolded....how can I make this paragraph, copy it into the shorthand and have it keep those words bolded so every time I use shorthand to bring up the paragraph in a document the words stay bolded?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

The MTSO that has hired me needs me to have Office 2010 Professional, whereas I have Office 2013 Professional. They said the only reason 2013 won't work is because of the Word version. I've searched the internet for clues, but all I see are instructions for converting 2007 to 2003. Nothing about converting 2013 to 2010. If I can't ge ...

Hi there,
Can anyone please tell me the short cut so I can just creat an autotext for -year old patient.

I have forgotten the trick to do this.
Thanks,

I know that there is a short to delete a sentence to the next period in word, but I can't find it by googling it and I am wasting way too much time just pushing buttons. If anyone knows this short and would like to share I would really really appreciate it.
Since I am asking for a short, I will share the one I use the most.
