...that she spoke to her health insurance broker and her health insurance is going up.
She didn't say she was too poor to have a broker.

My stockbroker. Health care industry value (at least the companies in my portfolio) went up 60% in the last year so obviously lots of companies are making money; it's just not getting to the MTs.
must be nice. Here I am deciding if I will I want my lights or my phone - turned off this month.
Right? Stockbroker? Your husband must have a very cushy job - anon

I don't know of any MTs who can afford any "stockbroker". Isn't that kind of thing usually for people NOT on Food Stamps?
Sorry if I offended anyone - old and burned out

I don't have a husband any more. Been divorced since 1990 and he was broke when he died. I'm lucky I worked in this field when I could make a good living and I invested my money. I suppose I could have worded things differently but all I was trying to say is that health care companies are making huge profits and it's too bad that MTs are not getting their share.
offended? oh heavens no! Made jealous? yes - wish I was as smart as you were!
I spoke to a lawyer who knows some of the circumstances we will all face with the new HIPPA laws. If you type a report and typed in a fax number or cc to a certain individual and it is wrong and gets sent to (that pizza company in the video), it all depends how the hospital, doctor, HIPPA and anyone else concerned on how they want to proceed with this situation.
If the doctor clearly states a fax number and an MT put the fax number in wrong and there are ways of finding out who did ...
Saturdays are usually the busiest day so this doesn't bode well. I guess this just gives me time to test for a company that just emailed me yesterday. There has to be something out there better than this. If my other 2 jobs had enough work for me to go full time I would do it in a heartbeat, but they, unlike this miserable excuse for a company (SoftScript), do NOT overhire so I am just thankful I have the part-time work with them.
Guess tonight it is ice ...
